Creating With Light Off Camera
Join international educator Alison Carlino on a fast & furious lighting and posing workshop where you will walk outdoors to areas of light and composition that inspire our creativity. We will seek the light first and the location second! Learn to look at the existing light and decide how to change it to match your vision. If it’s too bright, let’s darken the scene using dramatic exposure. If it’s too orange, let’s correct the scene using CTO gels. If it’s a boring concrete wall, let’s add a gel color for dramatic effect. We will hunt down surfaces that offer reflections and objects to shoot through for framing. Learn how to work with your subject to achieve the pose and expression that matches your vision. If you understand manual exposure settings and need some lighting inspiration, this is the PhotoWalk for you!
